The brief
Team Northamptonshire commissioned Ferrier Pearce to develop and implement their inward investment communications campaign to be launched at MIPIM - an organisation that connects property professionals worldwide.
The approach
The communications strategy used digital marketing techniques including a specially designed microsite, video and email campaign. The integrated use of these digital communication tools ensured potential visitors were informed of meeting opportunities and other activities before and whilst they were actually at MIPIM.
One key Northamptonshire event was a speech by broadcaster Kevin McCloud explaining the county's sustainable construction initiatives. The speech was filmed and then immediately uploaded onto the bespoke microsite. Contacts who were unable to join the team in France were sent an HTML, which provided a link to the microsite and Kevin's speech.
The outcome
This digital approach reduced the need to print and post marketing material whilst reflecting the innovative nature of Northamptonshire and the real opportunities the county offers investors. The programme resulted in a number of strong inward investment leads for the Northamptonshire team.
