The client
PFC Corofil
The brief
PFC Corofil approached FP in 2004 to improve their brand awareness. Despite being the inventors of the product and being established since 1962, the feedback from their prospective customers was that they had stopped selling the products. In fact the company was flourishing and its products were being used in many high profile architectural projects.
The approach
We developed an advertising campaign that highlighted many of these well known projects, using light hearted headlines that linked conceptually to the imagery. Following the success of the campaign, requests for information increased and to meet the demand we devised a traditional product catalogue (printed on recycled paper) and an interactive digital catalogue. The interactive CD rom included fly through animations for each of the 22 different products with audio voiceovers explaining the technical benefits of each product and where in a building they could be used most effectively.
The outcome
Orders increased and in three years the company's turnover grew to approximately £2m culminating in the recent acquisition of the business by the international building products company Wolseley.
