The brief
Ferrier Pearce were initially invited to produce outline branding proposals for discussion purposes with a view to updating and refocusing the HamishWilson brand to be more in line with the direction and ambition of the business. The objective was to produce an updated brand that continued to reassure and reinforce existing HamishWilson clients' loyalty, whilst presenting the firm in a new light to raise its profile. The successful implementation of this strategy would be measured by the retention and possible growth of the existing HamishWilson client base in combination with improved recognition and profile within its field.
The approach
In our initial proposal we presented a selection of possible routes varying from the evolutionary to the revolutionary. Through a thorough and interesting interactive process of refinement and elimination with the client, a more revolutionary approach was chosen and implemented across a range of material with the current website restyled to match.
The outcome
The new identity has been implemented successfully with a noticeable improvement in profile for the firm.
