Crest Nicholson, BioRegional Quintain and Southern Housing Group
The brief
We were commissioned by Crest Nicholson, BioRegional Quintain and the Southern Housing Group consortium to produce a DVD that would support their pitch to create a carbon neutral community at Gallions Reach, in London's Docklands.
The approach
Following the brief we established the proposed development's marketing name 'One Gallions'. We then wrote, filmed and edited the DVD, which included a vox pops section shot in Newham High Street and 'to camera' pieces by the chief executives of all the consortium companies in two weeks. To support the DVD we then produced a pitch document branding design guide, which was adopted by all parties producing items that formed the pitch deliverables. To complete the documents to be presented to the LDA and confirm the consortium's long-term approach to the project we produced a draft development marketing brochure that highlighted the BioRegional Quintain 'One Planet Living' environmental ethos.
The outcome
All the supporting deliverables, which where delivered on time and to budget, where used by the pitch team as part of their One Gallions presentation to a selection board comprising of both the LDA and Greenpeace.
In the face of strong competition the consortium was selected to build One Gallions, which will be London's first carbon neutral community.
