Last night Ferrier Pearce won the PIPA Communications Specialist Award at Pension and Investment Provider Awards organised by the Financial Times.
The Pension and Investment Provider Awards combine the forces of FT owned Pensions Management and Pensions Week magazines. The awards recognise the excellence of providers of products and services to UK occupational pensions schemes. The four key criteria used to adjudicate the awards are performance, innovation, service standards and competitive edge.
When presenting the award the judges remarked on being particularly impressed by the way Ferrier Pearce continues to use consumer marketing techniques and the fact that we recognise scheme members as not only employees and pensioners but, more crucially, as internal customers.
Having collected the award from Pensions Week Editor, David Rowley at the black tie dinner and presentation ceremony held in the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel, Jon Pearce said: “This is real recognition of both our internal customer communications philosophy and the hard work of all our offline and online pension scheme teams. We continue to believe that the lessons we have learnt working in the consumer marketing sector have given our pension communication projects the ability to relate and engage with scheme members.”
